Melissa Russo, founder and Yoga Journeys facilitator, is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University. Her studies in BioBehavioral Health created a strong foundation for an Integrative approach to Health and Wellness. Melissa’s continued studies and certifications in various Yoga traditions and Bodywork practices have combined with her life experiences and inspirations. The result is Yoga Journeys, an educational program for both children and adults.

Melissa teaches workshops, classes and programs that empower people of all ages, abilities and needs to develop a deeper relationship with themselves, which she believes is the first step in creating positive effects in their lives and the World.


Hilary B. Steinberg is a Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor and owner of Jaya Yoga Studio in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. In addition to her hands on experience teaching diverse yoga classes to a broad based range of students, Hilary holds certifications in pre-natal yoga, children’s yoga, adaptive yoga, and Pilates. Prior to opening Jaya Yoga Studio in her hometown, Hilary spent 14 years in Los Angeles working in the entertainment industry. She brings to Yoga Journeys her experience in production and talent management as well as entrepreneurial expertise.

Outside of the studio, Hilary teaches yoga at the University of Scranton, Keystone College, regional corporations, high schools and elementary schools. She dedicates her time to public service, serving on the board of Yoga Journeys, the Sergeant Jan Argonish Ride, which raises over $25,000 annually for local injured veterans and holds free yoga classes for non-profit organizations, including the musicians of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic, Northeast Regional Cancer Institute and The Russell Children Memorial Fund.

Hilary is committed to guiding others to realize their potential through the power of yoga.




Terra McAulliffe is a mother, blog author, artist, educator. She received her Associates of Fine Arts at Keystone College, and her BA in Art History and minor in World Religion from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.

Terra believes that wellness is a never-ending and expanding journey and has been involved with Yoga Journeys since its inception. Terra looks forward to seeing and being a part of helping Yoga Journeys expand and grow, as it continues to bring so much good to the world.


A graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts program (MFA ’01), Christian Hünnebeck is currently a Financial Consultant and Creative Producer at Water Gap Pictures, Inc., who recently produced their first independent feature film, “The Paragon Cortex”. Prior to this, he held the position of Financial Advisor and Senior Project Director at Screen Capital International Corp., specializing in structuring and facilitating international financing for major motion picture producers, both inside and outside the United States (‘02-‘08).

Projects include: “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” (WB, 2002), “Constantine” (WB, 2005), “Blood Diamond” (WB, 2006), “Where The Wild Things Are” (WB, 2009).

 In Summer 2010, he joined the efforts of Yoga Journeys as a creative consultant/producer and strong supporter of YJ’s interactive and educational program.
